Micro Surface Corporation understands the importance of dry film lubricant coatings in food and beverage processing and packaging applications. Our dry lubricants are designed to create durable surfaces that resist corrosion, help maintain equipment hygiene, and enhance operations. The lubricants that we offer are particularly sought out for applications that require features such as non-stick properties, and resistance against chemicals.
Our coatings are versatile, as they can be used with small components, tooling, as well as large scale food processing and packaging equipment. We offer three lubricants that can meet the coating requirements of the food and beverage industry:
The lubricants are designed to operate in a variety of temperatures. They also provide the requisite amount of lubricity, which allows for smooth and easy movement of machinery. MoS2 can operate in applications where temperatures are as high as 600oF and is the perfect solution for food and beverage packaging operations, which require a clean environment and preventing dirt and dust accumulation. WS2 is biocompatible per ISO-10993, FDA approved for repeat use and USDA approved for incidental contact. MS-1216 is extremely effective in operations where the lubricant will be exposed to high temperature steam and water.
